  • How much will it cost for me to start my assisted living business?
    The "Our House Is A Home" Assisted Living Start-Up Program requires an ideal candidate. After qualifying as a candidate a one-time up-front fee of $3,000.00 However, prices may vary if additional services are needed in your start-up process. Payment plans are available. You will need a home, leasing or purchasing are both acceptable. EX: rent + security deposit = EX: furniture + new or used =
  • How does the assisted living Start up process work?
    The Assisted Living Start-Up program helps you through the process, Assistance with finding a private landlord and or realtor. Assistance with setting up your home so that you will pass all three inspections. Assistance with marketing Help prepare books per state regulations Present for all walkthroughs 80 Assisted Living Management Training (additional fee $1400)
  • How long is the process?
    Once you have your home and submit your application for licensure, it takes approximately three to six months for the state of Maryland to schedule an inspection of your property. Within that six months, you have time to complete the 80-hour Assisted Living Management Program, completely furnish your property, and have your property inspected by Baltimore City authorities which are needed first in order to submit the application to the state of Maryland.

    Our House Is A Home offers very competitive rates in regard to assisted living start-up services. As listed on our bookings page we offer different packages with different inclusive fees and rates. Assisted Living start-up class- $1400 Or sign up for mentorship to get help with preparing your life for entrepreneurship $500 downpayment and $60 reoccurring payment for 12 months.
