After qualifying as a candidate a one-time up-front fee of $3,000.00 However, prices may vary if additional services are needed in your start-up process. Payment plans are available. The Assisted Living Start-Up program helps you through the process, Assistance with finding a private landlord and or realtor. Assistance with setting up your home so that you will pass all three inspections. Once you have your home and submit your application for licensure, it takes approximately three to six months for the state of Maryland to schedule an inspection of your property. Within that six months, you have time to complete the 80-hour Assisted Living Management Program, completely furnish your property, and have your property inspected by Baltimore City authorities which are needed first in order to submit the application to the state of Maryland.
